Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak sliced thin against the grain
  • 3 cups broccoli florets bite-sized pieces
  • 1 large red bell pepper cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 large yellow bell pepper cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 3 tablespoons coconut aminos
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil divided
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine sliced sirloin with 1 tablespoon avocado oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, coconut aminos, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt. Toss well to coat and let marinate for 5-10 minutes while preparing vegetables.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for 3-5 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, toss broccoli florets and bell pepper pieces with remaining 1 tablespoon avocado oil and a pinch of salt.
  4. Add the marinated beef strips to the air fryer basket in a single layer, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding. Air fry at 400°F for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until beef is cooked through and slightly crispy on the edges. Remove and set aside.
  5. Add the broccoli and bell peppers to the air fryer basket. Air fry at 400°F for 6-7 minutes, shaking once halfway through, until broccoli is tender-crisp and lightly charred at the edges.
  6. Return the cooked beef to the air fryer basket with the vegetables. Toss everything together and air fry for an additional 1-2 minutes to reheat the beef and blend flavors.
  7. Serve immediately, dividing between two plates. Optionally garnish with sesame seeds or sliced green onions if desired.
